Navigating Our New Reality: How COVID Changed Career Development
The role that career coaches is increasingly important as technology transforms the economy, upends sectors, and reshapes jobs. We know the crucial role career coaches play in the lives of job seekers, that’s why our coaching work focuses on equipping career coaches with skills, resources, and support needed to help their clients pursue better opportunities in a rapidly changing economy; and this year, Skillful is the proud sponsor of Colorado Career Development Association’s (CCDA) Fall Conference. This FREE three-day event will tackle important information for Colorado career coaches and counselors as they help their clients navigate these uncertain times.
Day one of the conference will feature Ilana Tolpin Levitt, Career Counselor, Mental Health Counselor, and Author, as she addresses the intersectionality between mental health and careers particularly during COVID and offers essential tips, tools, and strategies for instilling optimism and hope for job seekers and career coaches.
Day two of the conference will feature Lindsey Day, Assistant Director of Talent Acquisition and Development at Innotech, who will focus on technology needs in the career development space.
Day three of the conference will feature Katherine Keegan, Director of the Office of The Future of Work, as she discusses what recovery may mean for the Colorado job market, where job seekers may see expanded opportunity as jobs return, and how some positions have combined, displaced, or eliminated job roles through automation and technology.
